Thierry Poinsot Dr. Poinsot obtained his PhD in 1983 from Ecole Centrale Paris, where his advisor was Professor Sebastien Candel. Working with the Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse, CNRS, he also leads the CFD group at CERFACS and is a consultant for various companies. His primary research activity is in the area of computational fluid dynamics for reacting flows. He is a Research Fellow for the Stanford University Center for Turbulence Research. Denis Veynante Dr. Veynante obtained his PhD in 1985 from Ecole Centrale Paris, where his advisors were Professor Sebastien Candel and Dr. Jean-Pierre Martin. Working with Laboratoire EM2C at Ecole Centrale Paris, CNRS, and various industrial concerns, his primary research activity is in the area of turbulent combustion modeling and experimentation. He is a Research visitor for the Stanford University Center for Turbulence Research. |
